Porsche is driving the expansion of its 911 family and now also sells the base model of the sports car again with four-wheel drive. The Porsche Carrera4 celebrates its premiere at the IAA (public days: September 12 to 22) and will be available later this fall.
Porsche Carrera4 with 385 hp
The prices for the coupe start at 112 509 euros, the convertible starts at 126 789 euros, said the manufacturer.
Like the recently introduced 911 Carrera, the four-wheel drive also uses a three-liter six-cylinder boxer engine delivering 283 kW / 385 hp. Combined with an eight-speed dual clutch, however, it not only forwards its power to the rear axle, but also to all four wheels when required and with variable power distribution.
The Carrera4 accelerates with a maximum torque of 450 Nm in the best case within 4.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h and reaches a top speed of 289 km / h (convertible) or 291 km / h (coupe). The standard consumption is Porsche with at least 9.2 liters and CO2 emissions at 210 g / km.
