Mazda to Unveil Mazda HAZUMI Concept at Geneva Motor Show

Mazda will premiere the Mazda HAZUMI next-generation subcompact car concept at the Geneva Motor Show 2014. The name HAZUMI is a Japanese word meaning to ‘bound or spring up.’ Chosen to convey the image of an untamed animal leaping, it is particularly fitting for a small car designed to look as if it is literally bursting with energy. Automaker Nissan, together with its motorsport partner NISMO revealed the engine codenamed ‘DIG-T R’ which will be featured on its 2013 ZEOD RC electrified race car Garage 56 experimental entry that competes in this year’s 24 Hours of Lemans next week. Turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder with 400 horsepower output, the engine only weighs an astounding 88 pounds, which means any adult could be capable of carrying it, just like NISMO head Shoichi Miyatani pictured above.

Nissan Announces U.S. Pricing for 2015 GT-R

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today announced U.S. pricing for the 2015 Nissan GT-R Premium, GT-R Black Edition and GT-R Track Edition*, which have received a number of important performance, exterior and interior enhancements for the 2015 model year. The changes are designed to give GT-R a more refined look and feel without sacrificing one bit of its legendary performance.

The GT-R Premium and GT-R Black Edition grades are on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide. The GT-R Track Edition and a fourth grade level, the new GT-R NISMO, are scheduled to join the lineup in summer 2014 – with GT-R NISMO pricing to be announced closer to that time. Just like the iconic yellow cabs of New York City, England has the Hackney carriages called the LTC black cab roaming the streets of London but a new cab design coming from Japanese carmaker Nissan is on its way near the end of 2014.

The new taxis will be the first electric taxis with zero emission, a breathe of fresh air for a city that suffers much with air pollution. Based on the NV200 multipurpose platform of Nissan, the cabs will be built by Nissan Design Europe (NDE) in Paddington.
