Substantial decline in sales at automaker PSA

The French automaker PSA with the big brands Peugeot, Citroën and Opel has posted a strong decline in sales. Sales fell in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year worldwide by 12.8 percent to a good 19 million vehicles, said PSA on Monday in Rueil-Malmaison near Paris. While there was a small increase in Europe, overseas markets in Asia or Latin America recorded significant losses.

PSA Sales: Opel back to Russia

PSA confirmed a previous announcement that Opel would return to Russia. The models Zafira Life and Grandland X should be available there in a few months, reported the manufacturer. PSA intends to submit business figures for the first half of the year on Wednesday next week (24 July).
