The German car maker recently released photos of the production model. The street-ready unit is so unlike the race car version. Here’s a rundown of its features: front-wheel drive, 220 PS (217HP) 2.0-liter engine, 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.4 seconds, 243 km/h (151 mph) top speed, electronic differential lock, and a sports suspension.
The Polo R WRC is listed with a $43,690 price tag in Germany. It includes a set of 18-inch Cagliari alloy-wheels, radio navigation unit, climate control, winter package, rain and light sensor, cruise control, and standard bi-xenon headlights.
